I got my first ever, real heart-to-heart talk with my mom about my life and all I did last night was cry like a kid who lost her toy. Hindi ko alam na sobrang gagaan ng ganito ang pakiramdam ko matapos ang usapan namin ni mommy at pinagsisihan ko na hindi namin agad ‘to ginawa.
My family might be religious – to the point that they don’t believe anything that is not on the bible – but like mommy said, I’m their daughter and she accepts me completely.
“Good morning, family!” Masigla kong bati sa mga parents ko.
Ang gwapo ni daddy kasi masaya ‘yung ngiti niya. “Hey princess. Take your sit. Nagluto ang mame mo.”
Napangiti din ako ng maluwang. I suddenly miss calling mommy “mame”. ‘Yun naman kasi ang original na tawag ko sa kanya. I’m used to calling her mama too but I’ll stick with mame. I
