I was startled awake by the continued shaking of my shoulder as well as the soft taps on my cheeks. I tried catching my breath while blinking my eyes repeatedly to focus.
When my vision cleared, I saw Olivia and Nico's worried faces. Their eyes were filled with concern before they sighed in relief when they saw that I was awake.
“You scared us, Jiko. I thought something happened to you this time." Olivia cried as she squeezed my hand.
