I tried to look calm but my heart wasn't cooperating. I looked up at the wall clock and it said four in the afternoon. I jolted in surprise when Gavin sneaked inside my unit.
"Jesus, Gavin! Can't you knock?" I held my chest hoping it would help me to calm my now frantic heart.
