I sighed as I put my missing wristwatch back to the glass shelf. Galing iyon sa bag ni Carra, na bigay ni Mommy, that apparently she really doesn’t use. I already set aside the thought that she stole it. Ibinalik ko na sa lalagyan, ano pa? She’s still there inside Lax's room, carefully eyeing my son like her precious one.

I looked back at the door and found Devign there, with Mommy.
“The two precious women in my life. What brought you here?”
