Aleesha awoke without feeling exhausted or tired, but her stomach grumbled and begged for food. It was as if something was digging inside it, churning and burning from hunger. She forced herself to look for Dylan despite the excruciating pain. Aleesha felt dizzy the moment she sat straight on the bed, so she quickly adjusted her breathing and settled herself.
Aleesha waited a minute before she felt she could move around freely, so she looked around. A luxurious room caught her eye, but it didn’t give her an uneasy feeling. A sense of familiarity is lurking inside her.
Aleesha didn’t have to think too hard about where she was. She was sure she was at her parents’ home. Aleesha recalled that they came straight here from the airport.
