"Alex Gordon," I uttered as I read his name in a file given to me by one of the people I had instructed to investigate about what had happened to Angel's hands and feet.
"She is a lesbian, Sir. Napuntahan na namin ang tirahan niya sa Tondo Manila, but according to her mother, her daughter died of liver disease two years ago."
"How did she have a connection with Angel?"
"According to her mother's story, her daughter's father was a former PNP General. Naging customer daw niya ito sa dating bar na pinagtatrabahuhan niya noon at hindi niya inakalang mabubuntis siya."
"PNP General? Who among them?"
"PNP General Vincent Parker, Sir ayon sa babae." Napanganga ako sa kanyang sinabi.
"How can you be so sure she's telling you the truth?"
