A WAVE of guilt and fear runs through Heart’s chest as the car drives inside of a mysterious mansion where Nix brought her. She was excited to go home, she’s excited to sleep in her comfortable bed but those excitement vanished into thin air when Nix revealed that they weren’t coming home in the human world, instead, they’re here in a secluded place out of nowhere!
“Kyaah!” She shriek in surprised upon seeing werewolves running on the roofs of the mansion.
Nix took her hand and slightly squeezed it. “Don’t worry, they are not harmful. These shifters are just guarding the mansion because this is Alpha’s house.”
“Alpha?” she asked, curiously. “I thought Rave is the Alpha?”
“He is, but Rave is Lycan’s Alpha and this Alpha we’re going to talk to is the Alpha of werewolves,” he explained.
