Chapter 21

"Mr. Hawk, we are done here. We should leave right away, "I spoke my piece and was about to hang up when I heard Mr. Hawk's panicked cry.

Damn it, this is terrible! Those maggots have arrived. Perhaps they were alerted by the blast, or perhaps it was the bomb they implanted that sent them an alarm after it was detonated.

That thought prompted me to move immediately to get the paper I had stashed in a small squared box that sinks when an object is placed inside it. It is a useful equipment to have when performing missions such as recovering something because it allows the user to travel more quickly when leaving.

And then after that, I immediately slid it into a small pocket in my black suit, which was meant for a secret assignment similar to the one I am currently on. Next, I turned on my location services so that Mr. Hawk would be able to locate me promptly even if we were traveling in different directions.

Whenever we find ourselves in a tight spot like this, Mr. Hawk and I always turn to escape in a variety of ways. Because this abandoned house only has one entry, which is the front door, we will have to pound our way out of this abandoned house, which will take some time.

Once I went out of the basement, I immediately got to work on getting things done. My suit has a button at my left chest, which I press just before I start walking around. What I just did was to activate the suit's invincibility future by pressing a button on my suit.
