Maria's POV
After the doctor checked on me, Marcus walked out with him and said he'd process the papers for my release. I can't wait to go home and be with my kids. As Marcus told me, I wanted to see if my crazy sister was okay, and I doubt that she is, knowing Amelia, and she's probably walking around the house panicking and worrying about me.
Samuel and Papa left in a hurry after I woke up, which made me very suspicious. They are probably hiding something from me. I sat up slowly and tried to get down from the bed to change when Marcus returned.
" Maria! What are you doing? Baby, you should have waited for me, and you are still weak." He walked fast towards me and put an arm around my shoulder to help me stand.
