When we entered the dining room hand in hand, everybody beamed and teased us endlessly. Our son, Isaiah, is smiling from ear to ear, and my heart almost jumped out of my ribcage. I kissed his head when I sat beside him.
" Finally! What took so long, guys? Amelia exclaimed. " Ugh, never mind. You don't have to answer that. I think I know what you did." She acted disgusted, so I stuck my tongue out at her. She also did the same, and everyone chuckled.
" There, there, children, settle down. Let's eat, and then we'll talk about what we should do about Luis, Lucas, and Alexei." My Papa laughed and reprimanded us both. We all ate in comfortable silence.
