Mia entered the room and a nurse carrying a tray of food for me to eat followed closely behind. Mia helped and fed me in silence. I noticed she was contemplative.
"You put your life in danger for me," she said, putting aside the tray with the plates of the worst food I have ever received in my life.
"I can't conceive my life without you." I replied, and delicately touched her cheek as I noticed how her pretty eyes shone with unshed tears.
“And you think I can live without you?” She asked, and a tear rolled down her cheek. I rushed to dry it, my chest squeezing when I saw her pain.
