I felt Alaric shake me gently and is trying to wake me up. I opened my eyes and saw that we have arrived. He placed me on the seat and went out first. Then he took my hand and guided me out of the truck, putting his arms around me.
When I looked up, I saw Luna Sophia and Tricia by the steps beaming, and I smiled back at them. When we reached them, Luna Sophia grabbed me and hugged me tight, crying.
" Oh, my child, welcome home. I am so happy when I heard you are coming back home. Alaric has been miserable and moody when you were not around." She is wiping her tears and is smiling at me. Then Tricia grabbed me and hugged me as well.
" Welcome back, nerd." She joked and squeezed me, then whispered lowly, " did you tell him?" I nodded, grinning, and she smiled back, squealing.
