Carl and Drew arrived early on Wednesday afternoon. Alena asked them to check everything and if they were satisfied. She has people she can order to run around for today.
“Everything looks nice. And the food already smells delicious. Can we eat something while we wait for the others?” Drew asked, earning a glare from his brother.
Alena chuckled. “Sure. Want to come with me to the kitchen? Let’s see what they’ve already cooked.”
The boys followed her and looked around. They were in awe of the place and how busy the people inside were. They were preparing food for the buffet, so everything was in large volumes.
“Can we have one roasted duck?” Drew was already drooling.
“Sure. Anything else?”
“Give him some vegetables to eat,” Carl replied.
