Alena was able to fall asleep when the surroundings began turning light. It’s a bright morning. Like her, the kids and Christan are taking the day off to rest. Christan was the first to get up and have his coffee as he read some business news. When Carl showed up, he asked about Alena. “Did we drop her off?” The kid couldn’t remember. “No. She’s in the guest room,” he plainly replied. Carl brightened up at the answer. “Oh, is she awake yet?” His dad shook his head. “I don’t think so. Don’t go bothering her. Just wait for her to wake up.” “Isn’t she busy, though? What if she needs to go to work today?” “I’m sure she would have set up alarms if she had something going on for today,” he explained while glancing at the second floor. Drew woke up and went straight to the kitchen.
