I averted my gaze because I felt naked in front of his eyes, but Jacob caressed my face and compelled me to look at him. For a brief moment, our gazes were locked, and no one dared to look away. Standing outside his room was inconvenient, so I wish he would move sooner. When he snatched me and dragged me into his room, I gasped for air.
