I heard heavy footsteps rushing inside. But my eyes were heavy and clouded with warm tears. My head was leaning on Sirius’s side with my arms around him. Voices rang in my head, but I could not respond to them. Gentle hands jerked me to move. But because they were yet to receive a response from me, the shakes became persistent and strong.
