"Drop your weapon!" Mr. Green shouted as he stood with a gun in his left hand, and he pointed it to Grey.
"Do as you say, Mr. Green. I outnumbered you. We had a deal, but your daughter sent me a threatening message. What do you think I will do once you touch my wife?" Grey told with grit while all of his men in black with guns pointed at Mr. Green's men.
"You know very well, Grey, that my daughter likes you but you refused her. That's not my problem anymore," Mr. Green countered, and he c****d his gun.
"Tell your daughter to fvck off because I'm already married. Tell her too to stop sending me threatening messages, or I will not hesitate to cut her off," Grey demanded with a stern look at Mr. Green, and he turned around to end their discussion.
Mr. Green chuckled and says, "You are digging your own grave, Mr. Victor. You do not dare to touch my daughter. I will finish you here then."
And, Mr. Green fired his gun but luckily, Grey dodged it unexpectedly, and Grey fired at him too that he fell to the ground because he did not expect Grey to have a gun too at his hand that came inside his coat.
"Kill them all!" Mr. Green yelled angrily.
With that command, all men of Mr. Green fired and fight Grey's men. Whilst, one man carried Mr. Green up and took him away but Grey followed him to finish the fight they started. However, before he could get closer, he fought a lot of men fist to fist resulting in him having cuts on his face, body, and on his back. And because of that, he did not catch up with Mr. Green who drove away and fled.

"W-What?" she asked hesitantly.
"Don't touch me," he said, and let go of her. He so wiped his lips and diverted his eyes elsewhere because he just remembered what happened back on their wedding day when she kissed him on the lips after wiping the icing on his lips.
Because of that, Katlyn took back her hand and lowered her head to look away at him too but then, curiosity got her. She looked up to him again, and asks, "What happened to you? Why were you full of blood and cuts on your body? Where did you go?"
"None of your business," he sullenly answered, and looked away again at her.
"Okay, if you don't want to tell then I'm not going to force you. Feed yourself. I'm going to school now since you can manage yourself already. Why would I bothered anyways?" she sarcastically commended, and put down the plate above the drawer beside the bed and she left him alone.
"This is not yet the right time to tell you everything," he murmured while watching her go out of his room.

The night came after, Katlyn got home and because she want to check on her husband, she opened his door silently and go inside to know how he is but, she found him sleeping.
"Wait for me here, and I'll apply the antidote to your cuts while you're sleeping," she recited when she noticed his cuts still not recovering, and she went outside.
The moment the door closed, Grey opened his eyes which means he heard what she said. And just like she said, she came back with her first aid kit. She then sat down beside him, and applied an antidote for his cuts while he pretend to be asleep when she noticed his face reacting to what she does making her thought that he is just faking his sleep. So, to stop him from pretending, she put pressure on it and because of that, he hissed loudly and opened his eyes to glare at her.
"I know you're awake," she mentioned, and glared at him too.
"You know, you really don't have to. It will heal itself," he told, and looked away as he found their position awkward.
"I know, but it will heal fast if I applied an antidote to it. You know, a simple thank you would be nice than complaining," she frankly said while gently putting medicine on his both arms.
"I did not tell you to do it," he countered still not saying it.
"Oh, well, what am I expecting from you?" she recited, and sighed as she already expected his response. "Okay, I'm done to your arms, pull your shirt up now," she instructed, and get another batch of clean cotton balls.
He did not talk anymore anyways, and just pulled his shirt up so, she could apply medicine on it too. From it, she put an antidote on his chest too silently while he keeps glancing at her because it was the first time that someone do it for him, that someone cared for him even though he did not say it.
"By the way, did you eat already?" she asked out of nowhere, and glanced at him too.
"No, but don't bother anymore because I'm not hungry," he replied, and looked away.
"I'm just asking you, don't worry I bought food just for me. Okay, I'm done," she announced, and kept all of her things before she stood up and leave his room again.

Afterward, he heard his stomach growling because of hunger so, he stood up on his bed and slowly go to the door when he stopped because he saw a tray with a cover on the floor that confused him. He, then, turned his head to the next door where she is because he knows she was the one who put it on the floor which made him smirk and just get it so, he could eat.
——
The next day, Grey go downstairs and directly go to the kitchen to look for something to eat when he saw a cloche in the middle of the dining table and because he was curious, he opened it and saw cooked food already with a note inside saying, 'Eat it and your body needs to regain its strength. Don't wait up for me and I'll be working on my thesis. You order your food later at dinner.'
A small smile cracked onto his lips after reading the note from his wife and just as it said, he sat down and eat it all.
The sun goes down immediately, and while he is sitting on his bed that it seems like he is waiting for someone, he texted the chaperone he hired to accompany his wife.
'Where is my wife now? Is she with you?'
'Yes, Sir. We're here at the coffee shop with her teammates for the thesis.' Melissa replied in less than a minute while she is at another table, and just watching her boss' wife.
She, then, took a picture of Katlyn who is laughing with Jackson and sent it to her boss with a smile on her lips too. But the moment Grey saw it, he gritted his teeth as he felt something fang his heart just looking at it.
'Tell my wife to come home now.' He texted quickly without knowing what exactly is happening to him.
Melissa's smile was suddenly gone because of her boss' text that alarmed her and so, she approached Katlyn, and whispers to her right ear, "I apologize, Ms. Katlyn, but your husband wants you to go home now."
Katlyn's eyebrows suddenly collided in the middle, and glared at Melissa because she doesn't like being told what to do. "No, I'm not going anywhere. Tell your boss to sleep now and don't bother me," she replied in a murmur, and she go back to her groupmates.
Melissa, then, sat down again and delivered the message to her boss just like Katlyn said, which made Grey mad even more.
"She's really a pain to my ass. And, why she doesn't want to go home? Because she's with that guy? So, she'd rather choose that guy over me? Doesn't she see that her husband needs her help? I know we already talked about this. That is infidelity already!" he exclaimed while envisaging his wife's face.
So, he picked up his phone again to reply but then, he hesitated because he knows that his wife is stubborn so whatever he said, she will not come home quickly which annoyed him, especially now that she is with another man rather than him.

KATLYN'S
"We're home," the driver in front of me announced when we finally got home.
"Thank you, Sir," I stated with a sweet smile because he's been good to me and so, I went out.
But before I go inside, I looked down at my wristwatch to see the time and I saw that it was already midnight. I wonder what that guy is doing right now, and why he wanted me to go home a while ago.
I, then, go inside the house and walked going straight to his room. I slowly twisted the doorknob and opened the door, but I was greeted by a terrible scene. I just witnessed the infidelity of my husband inside our house. But, I thought he never bring any woman here before except me? So, why is she here?
Wow.
Now I know why Melissa left me a while ago because his boss was looking for her. I should've known.
What am I expecting from this kind of man? He's the one talking about fidelity, but he was the one who did it! What a scumbag!
Well, go and fvck each other! I don't care!
I closed the door not bothering to wake them up, and because my heart is painful seeing them, I packed my things in a luggage hurriedly, and I went out to leave him.
But, where am I gonna go?
I cannot go home to my old house because my parents are not there anymore and for sure, Grey already monitored that house. So, I am not going there. I should look for a place where Grey wouldn't know where I am.
His Dad house!
"Ms. Katlyn? Where are you going?" the driver asked me who was surprised to see me with a suitcase.
"Please, take me to my father-in-law's house, Sir. Let's go, let's go," I hastily said, and went inside the car again with my luggage.
Fvck you, Grey! I really hate you!
"Ms. Katlyn, tissue?" the driver called that makes me turn to him, and he handed me a box of tissue.
And that's when I realized that I am crying.
Is this for real?
Oh, gosh, why am I crying because of that guy?
I should be happy and he was not into me because that would be so yucky if he was.
He's not even my type.
Come on, stop it, Katlyn.
"Thank you, Sir," I mentioned, and get some tissue to wipe my tears away.
I shouldn't cry for that guy. He doesn't deserve my tears for my goodness' sake!
Soon, I reached Dad's house and I was greeted with a hug even though he is sitting in his automatic wheelchair.
"Oh, God, I am thankful that you arrived here safely. I was worried about you when you texted me in the middle of the night and said you had a problem. Tell me, what's the problem, my daughter?" he told with concern, and he pulled me inside his house.
I was thankful too that I came here.
"Please, don't tell Grey that I am here," I pleaded while I am pushing his wheelchair going inside.
"Oh, sure, my daughter. You are safe here with me," he replied with a grin that makes me feel comfortable. "Come, and I'll show you your room. I already prepared your room the moment I received the text from you," he added that calm me down, and he showed me the room where I could stay for a while.
"Thank you so much, Dad. Can I tell you the story tomorrow morning? I'm really tired right now, and I haven't been sleeping properly," I apologetically said with a small smile to let him know that I'm not in the mood tonight to tell him everything that happened to me that's why I'm here.
"No worries, my daughter. Let's talk about it tomorrow if that's what you want. No problem with me. Go ahead now and take a rest. See you tomorrow morning. Good night, my daughter," he responded accommodatingly.
"Good night, Dad. Thank you, again. See you tomorrow morning. Bye," I answered back, and I pecked a kiss on his both cheeks to thank him before I close the door of my room.
I hope not see him tomorrow morning.
What a total jackass he is.
