Lailane entered her Sierra’s room and saw her surprisingly calm as she sat by the edge of the bed. She half expected her to be nagging at her and throwing curses the moment she entered the room but that didn’t happen. Instead, she met her gaze with mixed emotions of confusion and understanding. “Era… I-I…” Sierra raised her hand for her to stop. She stood and paced in front of her and when she stopped, she gave her a frustrated look, sighed and walked right towards her to pull her to an embrace. Lalaine didn’t move at first, most likely because of the tension. She knew her best friend would be worried with what she witnessed and she was actually ashamed that she saw that. “Sierra…” she whispered. “You don’t really need to
