I'm uncertain about the time I drifted into sleep. The ache in my heart kept me awake, knowing what Heather was going through. I contemplate leaving her on the island to spare her the encounter with her father. I awoke at six. Leftover food was a lot from the previous night, so I opted to reheat them.
