The last thing I wanted to see at the hospital was my ex-fiancée. I could clearly see how her eyes widened when our gaze met.
“G-Geoff!” Laura said in surprise.
“Laura,”
My forehead creased as I tried to look at her, a bit confused. Why am I seeing her right now? It took me a while before I finally realized that she was really here, in front of me.
I gritted my teeth as I tried to get a hold of her.
Why is she here? I mean…after months of trying to track her and I couldn’t get any sources...she’s suddenly here in front of me?!
My hand holding her wrist tightens as every frustration I had for her started to wash over me. And it seemed I was hurting her in exchange when I saw how her expression contorted in pain.
