IT WAS THE WEEKEND. Dawn had no work, and she was staying in her apartment. She had nothing to do. So, she was just lying in her bed, counting how many lizards would pass on the ceiling. Not until she thought of disturbing Kylen. She knew that Kylen had no work today like him.
Dawn knocked at Kylen’s apartment, but there was no response. So, she assumed that Kylen was not home. Maybe he went on a date. She shrugged. She couldn't think of any other reason why Kylen wasn't in his apartment.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
One of Dawn’s eyebrows raised on seeing the caller. She answered the call. “Hello.”
“I have important matters to do. If you have nothing to do this afternoon, buy some groceries at the supermarket near the apartment. You buy, I’ll cook,” Kylen said.
