Bang!
Zachary jumps out of bed and sits on Ethan's lap when they heard a gunshot from the outside. Clung on him embracing him tightly.
“What is it, Babe? I'm scared,” Zachary said while snuggling on Ethan's neck.
Ethan patted his back to comfort him while trying to grope under the pillow to get his pistol but before he could get it, the door collapsed in front of them. There they saw a group of men, one who they thought is the leader of the group is handling the unconscious Marcus on his collar with few drops of blood dripping from the back of his neck.
“What you did to my cousin?” Zachary gets off from Ethan, sat beside him, and asked the goon bravely but he is shaking in fear.
“He is alive. I just gave him some rest,” the goon said and snigger showing his crooked teeth.
