I inhaled deeply, gasping a little after I dug into Astohk’s memories. My face was close to his as I leaned with my hands holding his bound arms tightly. His abyss-like eyes reflected uneasiness, fear and apprehension. However, he didn’t mumble or anything.
“You protected the place well where you keep my sisters, Astohk. Pretty good job, you didn’t reveal where the place is. You only use transference spells to go back and forth.” I gave him a non-humorous smile. Deep inside, I was truly disappointed, because that little episode getting into his head was not so helpful in finding my sisters.
