I quickly pulled up a barrier to conceal us from the Red Dragons above us that searched the area. Since I already alerted Haalash to wake her princess up, Kalai was out of her resting place, which was between mine and Davroz’s. As much as I wanted to crawl into her little shelter a short while ago, I did manage to control myself from doing it. Or else, I would have another hurtful words coming right from her. It should be my compensation enough that they trusted me now. Davroz did not even have second thoughts of sleeping with me around them as I was supposed to be a stranger. Maybe when I helped them back on the mountainside and in town was proof enough that I was on their side.
