They stopped the car in an eatery where other vehicles entering and going out of the province also stop here to eat and rest for a while. Dylan is the first to come out OF the car followed by Eunice that couldn’t walk well, they went inside the TONYANG’S EATERY.
There is a few eating there at wobbly eatery, their so many choices of dishes at the eatery and outside there’s a woman grilling some barbeque, the delicious smell of grilled barbeque mixing to the cold air.
Some of the costumer there are watching and there’s a noise of old and rusty ceiling fan at the ceiling. They sit near at the window and on their right side is television. Some of the costumer there wondered why the young man Dylan has a hanging shot gun on his shoulder. Come unto them a young lady wearing long dress with shoulder-length hair.
“Hi there, I hope you have a great day, by the way what’s your order ma’am and sir?” The young lady asked while holding a pen and small notebook to write the order of the two.
“Two rice and beef soup please.” Once Dylan tell their orders the young lady left them to prepare their meal. The young man noticed the people at the eatery looking at them especially to his shot gun. He just looked away and give attention to Eunice who is quietly sitting on the front, “do you want to add something?”
She shakes her head saying no, “I just wanted to eat tonight, and I will be okay.”
They waited for a moment and they ate. Since the sun set, the place is now covered of dark, and familiar fear risen again for the young lady. They almost finished eating when the truck parked in front of the eatery that’s look like came from Manila. Three outreaches men came in, they came out from a newly arrived truck. Dylan noticed the three men just barely looking at them especially to Eunice. One of three have a strange look at the young lady, look like a delicious meal to him.
The three man sit near the table of Eunice and Dylan, the two-man sitting near behind from Eunice.
“Hey, miss beautiful your just new here, ah.” One of the men with blonde hair and masculine figured and wearing a black long sleeve with loose pants talk to Eunice.
Eunice just ignored the men and acting that she didn’t hear anything.
“You are scaring her, Nate,” the older men with taller to them jokingly said while laughing.
“If I were you miss you need to respect the elders if they talk to you,” Nate sarcastically said.
Eunice gulped in fear of what she heard.
“Let’s go.” Dylan called the young lady.
Dylan walked first and Eunice followed him but suddenly Nate pulled her hair, so she stepped back to sit again. Eunice didn’t know that the three man smell her scented blood of being mundane, the three man are also a modern monster called aswang. All the costumer eating at the eatery surprised of what Nate do to her, they quickly stop of what are their doing and rushed out of the eatery because they don’t want to join the trouble.
Dylan glared at them, “release her or I’ll shut you!” He shouted and prepared his gun.
Nate smirked and suddenly he tossed Eunice to the other table.
The young lady couldn’t stand easily, she feels extreme pain, especially her wounded foot.
“Don’t kill each other, idiots!” The older one yelled but no one want to stop.
The true form of the three man came out, talons, jagged teeth and paired eyes.
The young man was not immediately coming near to help Eunice was still trying to stand up.
The owner of the eatery that also an aswang also regenerate form when she saw the trouble and mess in her eatery.
“Get out of here!” She yelled the group.
“We come in peace, they are the one who make the trouble, so they are the one who need to get out of here, not us!” Dylan yelled while his shut gun pointing one of the aswang.
“Boy don’t act as if you have a courage to defeat us, we’re stronger than you. This your fault because you bring this young lady here, that I think more delicious than Tonyang’s beef soup.
In frustration, Dylan point the shut gun from one of the men and pull the trigger and the silver bullet hit the forehead, lunatic scream came from the men and the body slowly vanished and turn to ashes. One changed form and turn into wild animal.
The attacked him but before the monster came near, he scourged using the gun shut it hit the head so monster stepped back, he pull the triggered again and again so one of the men hit in the feet and upper part of his body, his body slowly vanished just like the first one. The ashes of dead monster scattered everywhere inside the eatery.
Tonyang shouted again, “stop! Go away, don’t destroy my shop!”
Dylan shot the last one and come to Eunice to carry with bridal style. When he entered Eunice inside the car, he drove away immediately from the eatery.
He gave the shut gun to Eunice, “hold it.”
Eunice just nodded, looking at the horizon and her hands are trembling because of what happened at the eatery.
Dylan parked the car at the place with no one will interfere to them, he came out and take off his polo shirt.
Eunice was also surprised to do the young man for taking of his polo shirt.
Dylan give the polo shirt to Eunice, “change your clothes so they don’t smell you.”
The young lady has a second thought to chance her clothes, but when Dylan noticed that she feels uneasy to change clothes, the young man turn around. Eunice rushed to change her clothes, the polo shirt is now look likes her dress with above the knee length.
“I’m done,” the young lady said.
Dylan took her clothes and tossed outside the car. He came back inside the car but he accidentally glanced the legs of the young lady, he immediately removed his eyes before Eunice noticed of his doing and drive again with topless.
Now his masculine body are exposed.
