ASHER cleared his throat as he approached Paul, seated near the swimming pool. He had been waiting for the right moment to talk to him, and now that Minah had briefly excused herself, he finally gathered the courage to do so. Their dinner hadn’t even started yet, and he intended to follow through on the promise he had made to his wife—to speak with Paul before he left. “Have a safe flight tomorrow,” Asher said casually, taking the seat beside Paul.
