My heart is pounding like hell as I wait for the dust and smoke to vanish and reveal what happened after the clash. I can’t help but to be filled with worry as the whole place went quiet. Everyone is waiting for the result of the battle. I gulp when time seems to be flowing slowly. All I can hear is the crumbling sound of the ground that was seemingly destroyed during the clash.
“Is it over?” asked Aeris. She is just beside me. I looked at her and she’s looking a little nervous like me, too. Her eyes are also filled with anticipation.
