It's already night time and there still has no movement from the Xu Family. Therefore, the people outside of the Xu Mansion started to get even more chaotic. They are all trying to get the Xu Family's attention for the man whose kneeling in front of their mansion for all almost a day.

"Is the Xu Family trying to make this young man kneel here for entire night?! Shame on you, Xu Family!"

"Xu Xiang Min! Come out and talk to this young man!"

"Xu Xiang Min! You dare to do this to a young man?! He's already asking for forgiveness and you gave him no face at all?! Are your pee higher than your head already!?"

There are a lot of noise outside the Xu Family mansion. However, Xu Rin who's the center of all the chaos are still sitting at the tower beside the gate secretly watching and listening to the clamoring of the people outside.

Sure enough, Lim Quan is not an easy opponent in terms of using a chess piece. However, he still has a lot of loop hole.

"Young Master," a man called him.

Xu Rin who's sitting on the ground of gate tower frowned. This was the first time he saw this man and he already know from his standing that he isn't a person of their household.

"You are?" Xu Rin asked, confused and defensive.

Xu Rin stared at the man and was stunned to see how handsome he is. It was only for a second that he smiled but his mind seems like became a camera and captured the everlasting beautiful smile of the person in front of him. His perfect face, body built, and his standing is like someone who's in higher position. Thus, Xu Rin did not make a move towards this guy.

The man who appear smiled in front of Xu Rin. He was shock to see how witty the person in front of him and how cautious he is. Sure enough, Xu Rin is not the same second young master of the Xu Family. It was as if he finally regain his footing.

"You can call me Liang."

Prince Qin Liang who was given a title of a King by the Emperor was standing right in front of Xu Rin. However, Xu Rin has no memory of the man in front of him. He wasn't able to meet him before and does not know who he was. There is no memory of him in his memory. Thus, he treated him like how he treated the others. If he knows, he'll definitely give a respect Qin Liang worthy of.

"Liang? I haven't heard your name before," Xu Rin answered innocently which made King Qin Liang raised an eyebrow.

"You haven't?" King Liang smiled and sat down beside Xu Rin. "What are you doing here? Listening to their nonsense?"

Xu Rin looked at the people in front of their mansion. "You know that I am not a sane person, right? So, I don't have any memories of you. Also, yes, it's quite funny looking at them yelling like that as if they know everything."

King Qin Liang smiled widely when he saw the coldness that flashed in Xu Rin's eyes. For King Qin Liang, his prediction was right. There will be a day when the Xu family will rise even higher than the others. He wasn't mistaken. It was indeed because of the second son, not the first son.

Both of them will make contributions for the Xu family, but the second son will bring out the potential of the Xu family externally, and the first son will be the one that will strengthen the foundation of the family internally. He was right to give this family a power to join him and his brother's expedition for a better empire.

"Yes, they're funny. Likes to talk bad about people when they don't even know what really happened."

Xu Rin looked at King Qin Liang and asked, "How about you? Do you know what happened?"

King Qin Liang stared at Xu Rin and smiled. "Yes, that is the reason why I am here." He stood up and added, "Right now, I have to go."

"Already?" Xu Rin was stunned.

How fast was it when he arrived? He left as soon as he arrived.

King Qin Liang smiled naughtily. "Do you want me to stay longer?"

Xu Rin, for some reason, felt that his face and ears went hot. He shook his head and said, "No. If you're busy, go."

"If not?"

Xu Rin narrowed his eyes. "If not, then go."

King Qin Liang laughed and bid him good-bye. However, before he left, he kissed Xu Rin's forehead, which made Xu Rin's eyes go wide.

He couldn't move. He was stunned and bewildered.

What just happened? Why did the person he just met kiss him? Not just that, why did he not get angry?

Xu Rin then blame the man's face. If that man wasn't that beautiful then he would punch him as soon as he got closer to him. It was unfair that he was the one who was stunned between the two of them.

When King Qin Liang went back to his palace, he was smiling. His people, who were working for him, saw him smiling and were stunned and couldn't move. They are speechless seeing their king smiling and do not care about the people who could see him.

"Did something good happen to the King? Why is he smiling?"

"Did he finally pick up a lady?"

"Are you crazy? Do you think there will be no mountain of ladies if they finally succeed?"

"Right, it was quite rare. His Highness, the King's smile is much rarer than a gem."

"But what happened to him at the Xu family mansion to make him come back here smiling?"

"Who knows?"

Everyone in King Qin Liang's mansion was talking about how rare it is to see their king smiling like that. A rumor that their king already has someone in his heart encircled only in their palace and does not dare to let anyone outside know. It's not because they're scared, but because they don't want to spread and share the news about their king. They want them to see their stunned faces when they heard the news about their king having someone in his heart.

"Your highness—" his second in command, Wang Ping stopped and stared at the person in front of him.

"What?" King Qin Liang asked, smiling.

"Ah, did you eat something?"

King Qin Liang's eyebrow raised. "What do you mean?"

"You're smiling. Is the world going to an end?" He asked, bewildered.

King Qin Liang glared at him. "Don't make me want to throw this dagger into your neck." Wang Ping closed his mouth and just stared at King Qin Liang. "What do you want?" he asked, not smiling anymore.

"About the second son of the Xu family."

King Qin Liang stopped and looked at Wang Ping. "What about him?" he asked, smiling.

Wang Ping stared at the person in front of him. Sure enough, the person who could make him smile like this is the second son of the Xu Family. Upon knowing this, he finally get to know why his King has no intention of getting a lady for himself.

"Do you want to send someone to protect him? You know how arrogant and vicious his aunt is, right?" Wang Ping said.

Wang Ping did not bother to say anything aside from this one upon realizing that his king was simply liking the second son of the Xu family. If he likes him, it does not matter to him since it is his life. Also, he has no intention of interfering in his Highness' life.

What for? If that is His Highness’ happiness, he’ll support him.

King Qin Liang nodded his head. "Yes, do that. Just remember to not let him know so that his movement won’t be restricted."

"Yes, Your Highness. I’ll do that."

Wang Ping left the king’s study and walked down the hallway. When he arrived, he saw his subordinates grouping together and talking about their king.

"What do you think you’re doing? Do you guys want to be punished?" Wang Ping screamed.

The people who grouped themselves immediately scattered and did their own work. Wang Ping shook his head, seeing them like this. He couldn’t help it since he knew that they also saw their king smiling like a fool.

Meanwhile, Ju went to where Xu Rin is and reported that he finally found someone that he asked.

"Is he reliable?"

Ju nodded his head. "As long as he was paid well, it's nothing to worry about, Young Master Rin."

Xu Rin smiled. "All right, let me meet him."

"Yes, Young Master."
