I'm at the office, waiting for the time to leave. Alex left just yesterday, and it's strange to feel his absence. Although we're in touch, it doesn't feel the same, as when I know I can see him at any moment. Yesterday, I received a call from Violet, and she invited me to dinner tonight. We see each other occasionally; she comes to my house, or my mother and I go to hers. She always welcomes us with open arms. It's always good to surround yourself with such positive vibes; she has earned my affection.
"Miss Decker."
I look in the direction of the voice and see James, the Blacks' driver.
"Mrs. Black is waiting for you," he says kindly.
"Thank you, it wasn't necessary for you to come up," I say, grabbing my things.
"Yes, it was. You know Mrs. Violet," he says with a slight smile.
