“No, you can’t ask!” Zoya was the one to intervene. “How could you ask something personal like that?” she questioned Adrik with a horrified look on her face. It looked like she was not like other women who would kiss a guy and tell their BFFs later.
“Uh… You might have forgotten I’m his best friend and more than that. But I won’t tell you that since it’s between Yuri and me,” Adrik countered.
Yuri sighed. “She already knows, Adrik.”
“Oh!” Adrik blinked, scratching his beard.
“And he knows what’s going on with me, too. I already told him,” Zoya said, referring to her scandal in France.
“Oh!” He looked at her with concern. “He doesn’t tell me that. What happened to you in France? You haven’t told me that either.”
