Natalia frowned as she looked from one to the other.
“Healed? What’s going on?”
Erik pursed his lips and let Corrine explain what happened.
“You… what? In the middle of a fight?” Her tone carries her disbelief.
“That’s what happened. I’m still recovering.”
“She should stay for a bit longer. I’ll take care of her.” Erik insisted.
Natalia gave him a glance but she turned to Corrine for her decision.
“I might stay for a few more days.”
“Make it a week.” Erik sounds relieved.
Natalia has a different concern after being assured that she’s fine.
“The enchantment’s not taking you back on its own?”
“That didn’t happen.” Corrine confirmed. In a way, she’d assumed it would happen as well, but days have passed and nothing of the sort occurred.
