[Prima] Le Conte Palace Grand Hall Olivia looks stunningly beautiful with my ball gown. I could see how Teagan keep stealing a gaze on her. My brother will be in massive trouble if Princess Mathilda notices that my brother fantasizes about my new lady maid. Yes, like me, Teagan is marrying Mathilda when he becomes at age two years from now. We are already in the middle of the grand hall. My brothers are enjoying the night. I look at the most handsome prince tonight again. If only Theo noticed me as Princess Lakiesha, things would be different. Oh, well, he never. In Theo's eyes, I am a mere servant. "Olivia, you should enjoy the night. Off you meet new friends. I will be fine here," I muttered to her. "But princess," Olivia protested. "You don't know how to do what they ask of you." "Shush! You are Princess Prima. I am Olivia.  Do you understand?” “But princess,” she said, looking at me worriedly. “Olivia, listen, I want you to experience a night how to be me. Selina will accompany you to the banquet. Have fun, princess Olivia!" Selina was with us on the day I arrived in Raleigh. But I did not see her the entire day. I don't know what errands she runs for mother. I am still thankful she stayed. At least I have Selina to help me. "Princess," Olivia muttered. "I will be fine, Olivia. Off you go, princess," I said, smiling at her. "I'm afraid they will ask you to serve them since Prince Theo did," Olivia stated with her worried facial expression. "Don't worry, Olivia. I can manage." "You!" yelled Princess Mathilda at me," get me a drink and a plate of appetizers." I looked at her. It's a different Mathilda that I know. The princess I know back in Egilson is so soft-spoken and will never mistreat servants. Princess Mathilda that my brother Teagan is betrothed with, is a loving and caring young lady. "Did you not hear me?" "W-w-w-what?" I asked, stammering. "How dare you pretend you did not hear me?" "Pardon me, my lady. What can I get for you?" I asked Mathilda nicely, even if I wanted to pull her birds' nest hair. I wish Teagan can see what's her dear beloved princess doing to me. "I said, get me a drink and appetizer! Now!" "Prima, are you okay?" asked Malik in silence. "Yes, brother. Don't worry. I can manage." "No using magic, Prima. Mother will surely appear before us if you do." "Yes, Lucas. No magic." "Do not use any of your ability, dear sister. Prima, you better be careful. Someone might see you. Theo might see you." "Yes, Byron." "You better listen to us, princess," reminded Lucas. “Listen, Prima,” added Teagan. "Yes, Teagan. Hey, your lady is not what you think she is. Did you see how she’s treating me?" I asked, heaving a sigh while reminding myself to compose and don’t get fed up with her.” “My apologies for Mathilda's action towards you, sister. I never know she’s hiding in a mask. This is the good thing that your chambermaid act made for me. I've seen Princess Mathilda's true colors before I tie a knot with her." “So, what would you do now?” “End us,” said Teagan without remorse,” call off the wedding. Malik is right.” “But Teagan, she’ll come after me,” I whimpered. "Ugh! Prima, why do you have to act as a chambermaid, princess?" “For Egilson and all our kind. I will sacrifice and endure everything, my brothers. I can do this. All of you are with me. We can do this together. Can’t we?” "Oh, my dear sister. Yes, we are together on this. We'll be around. Holler when you need us. Still remember our secret code, Prima?" "Yes, I do, Malik. I will holler del Fierro." "Yes, like how our father teaches us when we get in trouble while we are hunting deep in the forest." "Okay, okay, I can manage. Enjoy the night, brothers." "We love you, princess." "Awe! I love you more, boneheads!" Then I finally faced Mathilda. She's got a long-frowned face, and her ears are red. "I'll be back with your drink and food, my lady," I curtsy and flash a feigned smile. "I'll like a drink too," said Princess Helga. "Me too," said Lady Amelia. How will I carry it all? I think of using my magic, but it will be too risky until the entire night became busy left and right. I haven't worked this hard in my entire life. In the Kingdom of Egilson, I haven’t work in the kitchen or help our servants. I do nothing at home other than embroidery with my mother and archery with my father. When my brothers are around, I go hunting with them. At times, we ride our horses, then we compete. We race who’s the fastest rider. Other than those daily martial arts movements that mother and father taught me. I race with my brother hunting in the woods of Egilson. Sometimes we go to Brickenden forest. My daily activities in Egilson are all about me getting ready for the blood moon. I have a session with my mother Bernice at night where she's stronger and a session with my father in the morning. Both of my parents taught me different fighting strategies and skills. "You must be ready for your battle, Prima." That's what my mother always reminds me of. "Hey, my lady!" greeted Prince Leighton, whom I met once in Edinburg. Oh, well, I guess he doesn’t remember who I am. "What can I get for you, Prince Leighton?" "How did you know me?" Prince Leighton asked quizzically. "M-my bro—" "Prima!" yelled Malik in silence. "Ugh! Why are you four boneheads always invading my mind?" "Watch it!" said Byron. I am lucky to have loving and caring brothers, but all four of them are a handful. "Oh, I heard Lady Amelia called your name earlier, Prince Leighton," I replied. "Would you allow me to dance with you, my lady?" "Oh, no. Prince Leighton, I am of no royalty. I am forbidden to dance with you. "Well, I saw you dancing with the quadruplets earlier. Would you please take my hand?" "Boneheads! What to do?" "Go dance with him. He's a friend." "Would you be close to me, Malik? If Miss Witchface, see me. I'll be in trouble." "We got you covered, Prima. Yes, we’ll be just a second away from you." After dancing the waltz for a few minutes with Leighton. "Pardon me, Prince Leighton. I must leave. I have work to do," I said, dismissing myself off the dance floor.
