I leave my office, planning to go for lunch and return to handle the press regarding my boss's news. Before reaching the elevator, I find Darling with that i***t Cristian, just what I needed.
She's upset with me, and now he's with her too. I enter the elevator with them in front of me and overhear their little conversation, where Cristian offers to help her, and she very receptively accepts his help. I snort at the pair; Cristian is getting on my bad side.
We reach the floor, and as we exit, I see him move away from her, which gives me some relief.
I arrive at the restaurant and walk to one of the secluded tables as I always do, but I notice Darling entering and I think about inviting her to lunch. I hope she accepts my invitation.
