He butted in before I can finish my sentence.
“No, I will call you again later.”
He read my mind.

And I turned the phone off. Although there wasn’t anything funny, I could feel my face smiling and my whole body jumping although it was not moving up and down. There is this happiness in me that I couldn’t explain. Call me a flirt? Am I? He’s the one who called and brought me flowers.
I placed my hand on my lips. Oh no! I didn’t even say thank you. Or did I? I don’t think I did. I will later when he calls back. I hope he does.
