Isidro’s Point of View
“How was school so far, son?” tanong sa akin ng ama ko. It’s Saturday. The first week of the semester has just ended and I have mixed feelings about it.
“I…I don’t know how to really word it, dad,” tugon ko sa kanya at alanganing ngumiti. “But if I were to sum it up, the first week was kind of fun. I am liking it so far.”
“No regrets?” tanong niya habang nakatingin lang sa mga papel na nasa harapan niya. Those were probably company documents he needs to review.
“None at all,” mabilis kong tugon. “I actually met a few friends already. They’re way too different from me but I find myself getting drawn into them more and more. There’s this unquenchable curiosity that just keeps on growing as I spend time with them.”
