I left my room ready to go back to the mansion. Victor is out into a business with most of the lycans in his pack and I did not come along because I am still in pain from keeping my mate bond with Rozen.
This would be the best time to go home for a while.
“Luna Phillips, where are you going?”
I turned around, forcing myself not to roll my eyes when the head maid Robbie called me. She volunteered herself to be my aid and attendant in front of Victor. At the get go, she seemed nice but my experience at the jail taught me never to let my guard down.
Sure enough, my guess was tested and I learned who she really is. She’s nagging as if she outranks me. She bosses me around and decides for me and incites the other maids to talk behind my back.
