Papunta pa lang ako sa elevator nang makasalubong ko si Lexine. Wala akong planonng pansinin ito or even have a short conversation with her but I guess she felt the opposite.
"It's family day at Sia's school, are you going to meet her?"
Bahagyang umangat ang kilay ko. "I have more important appointment to attend to than be involved at events like that."
"So... no one will be there for her? I heard tito and tita are still abroad and Gwen's still has an out of town trip."
"Since when did you care about her?"
She heaved a deep sigh. "I just can see you in her when we were at her age. You know the feeling, right? Would you let her feel the same way you've felt before?"
Unti-unting tumalim ang tingin ko sa kanya. "Stop acting like you know everything about me."
