Mayumi came out with my mom with her eyes all teary and swollen. I immediately got worried, but seeing my mom in the same state, I knew their conversation went well and all their tears were of happiness.
“Goodness, wife, you didn’t scare our poor Yumi, did you?” Bungad agad ni daddy at niyakap si mommy.
Pinalo naman ni mommy ang dibdib niya. “Hindi ah!”
When I came face to face with Yumi, I immediately offered my embrace too. She easily melted on my arms, and I kissed her forehead, telling her how happy I am for her doing this with and for me.

“They went ahead. Selene received an emergency call in the office and said that she can’t postpone it any longer.”
