Nicki is more accustomed to her bed in the attic broken and uneven. She has been cuddling in her bed since she came home. She also thinks about the room and does not lose her mind about it. It's lunch time so she just got up and got out. She was right out of the room when the girl in the other room, Honey, came out.
“Oh, it’s you, you’re the owner of that room beside to my room,” Honey said.
“Yeah, yehey,” Nikki sarcastically said. Nikki walked first but Honey walked beside her. “How can I join in your club?
“Wow, what’s the reason and why did you change your plan?”
‘Why did I change my plan?’ She asked herself too. She didn’t say what’s her purposed but it’s all about the room. “How?” She asked again Honey.
“They’re a task you need to complete before you can join to the club.”
“How about the room you’ve said before, what is your knowledge about the room?”
“Aha! I knew it, you will join to our club because of that eccentric room. Do you want to know about that room?”
“Yes, I was curious.”
“Sorry.”
Nikki stopped and faced to Honey with confusion, “why are saying sorry?”
“If that was your reason to join to our club but you can’t. In the first place you didn’t believe in me and now you want to join. It’s not good,” Honey said while shaking is head and leave her again.
Nicki thought she could talk to Honey but not at all. But she does not lose hope. She still has a lot to learn in that room. There was something she needed to know there that she didn't know why. She just went to the diner by herself. She saw a group of beautiful people right in the middle and also a group of football players almost the cheer dancer was Lassie Clique. She smiled when she saw them eating happy.
She also noted that the EC group had only five members but that they had fun eating and talking. She had just bought lunch from the money Mrs. Douglas had given her and went to a table to eat there without any fried with her. After she ate, she immediately hung out on the field to watch practicing football players.
The sizes of the bodies, the players are fast and tall almost handsome. "Miss!" There is a player running near him at her. Her heart stopped and forgot to breathe as the man approached. "Hey, move!" She thought of what it was calling her when she suddenly pushed it just to get the ball behind her. At the speed moment she was shocked when the player pushed her and fell to the Bermuda grass of the field.
“Ouch!” She groaned in pained while touching her butt.
The young man approached her and took her by the hand to help her stand. Nicki paused as they held hands, “are you alright? I’m sorry if I pushed you earlier I don’t want the ball to get out.”
Give signed a moment with a 'T' with both hands on the partners to say 'practice-out' first. But Nicki's gaze was fixed on the young man so that she was speechless and amazed at the handsome young man in front in her. The young man was so amazed that she took her by the hand and waved his hand to Nikki.
“Sorry,” Nikki said. I felt embarrassed and she feel her cheek is getting red right now because of how the handsome young man near at her, “sorry,” she said again.
The young man laughed because how Nikki acted, “its fine, I’m the one who needed to say sorry to you because of what I did. I need to go back at my team, next time be careful and don’t look again to the face.”
Her eyes widened and she felt more hot in her face. The young man saw how she was red right now before leaving her, “that was embarrassing,” she whispered herself and then she leave the field.
She came back to the dormitory and she saw Honey again, “it’s you again,” Honey acted she was irritated to Nikki but it’s not.
“No I’m not,” Nikki sarcastically said.
“Are you decided to join to our club?” Honey suddenly asked.
Nikki remembered again about the room.
She nodded at Honey, “can I join now?”
“No it’s not, you can’t join to us, if you didn’t changes your reason,” and then Honey leave her again.
Nikki felt dumbfounded and still standing there, “walk-out was her favorite thing or it just a drama.”
She just returned to her room and rested. There wasn't much she could do in her room so she stood up in a chair and shut open the big window. She suddenly remembered her aunt and cousin. She asked herself if they were looking for her or theirs a new main there house.
She shook her head and tried to erase those problems, 'I must not think about them. I'm here when I have to go to college. '
She took out the notebook and ballpen to add more to her bucket list. She is a BS Literature because she has just passed the exam. But if she got 85% in the exam she would probably get Computer Science or higher courses. It was alright to her because she wanted to continue her father’s dream, to produce a book. Suddenly she remembered the smile of the young man she had seen before.
Her cheeks immediately reddened and she touched them. It only takes three days for the university entrance to open. She was ready that day. She wanted to see again the football player when the school open and she wanted to become friend to that young man while she was in the WU.
