CHAPTER 28
Charlotte's Pov:
"Mom! Aalis muna ako," paalam ko kay Mommy.
"Okay. Baby, will you be staying here tonight?" She asked.
"Yeah, Mom. Why? Ayaw n'yo na po ba ako rito?" I asked her.
My mom closed the book she's reading and looked at me. "Baby, it's not like that. You should be home—" I cut her off.
"I am home, Mom." Mariing sabi ko sa kanya.
"I know. I mean... Umuwi ka na sa asawa mo, okay? Not that I want you to go but honey, you are already married. Sa kanya ka dapat umuuwi," paliwanag n'ya.
Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. "Fine. I'm going back tonight," sagot ko sa kanya na tila ba ayaw kong sundin ang sinabi n'ya.
"Great! Sige na, anak. Take care! I love you! I'll tell your Dad," Masayang sabi n'ya.
I've been sleeping here for three consecutive days already
