Yelina’s Point of View
It took me two days to completely get rid of the pain. The rest of the pack has been concerned about me due to the lie Zachary told them—that I was sick and I need some time to recover. I could not believe he resorted to that kind of measure just to hide the fact that we weren’t able to successfully proceed with the marking. I appreciate his effort in keeping it a secret but it’s a little funny for him to hide it using a lie that would make the rest worried. Milly has been on my side most of the time and the cooks have been cooking me special dishes to speed up my recovery. But the good thing about what he did was I was able to see how much the pack cares for me. It made me feel that I am valued the same way they value Zachary.
