I felt a sense of relief after seeing the last pyr fell. So far, we’ve fought five of them and it took almost every single drop of strength we have to face one. I guess luck was really on our side. I looked at Zachary’s children and they all look exhausted and some are injured.
“Are you okay, Luna?” Milly asked, wrapping her injured arm with a piece of cloth she ripped from her skirt.
“I...Yes,” I replied and put up a reassuring smile to convince her. I don’t want her and anyone else to worry about me. I am not injured or what, I just can't feel my fingers and my arms are really cold—probably because I almost went too far in using my power. But it is way better than the first one I felt where I really feel like I am close to dying.
