"Woah..." I couldn't stop looking at the view as soon as we reached the top of the fortress. It was like a rooftop, giving me full access to a 360 degree view of the fortress and the surrounding sea.
"Lantis, what's the nearest land next to this fortress?" I asked, looking around to spot lands. I even had to narrow my eyes to zoom my sight. "Is that the nearest one?" I asked again, pointing towards the western direction.
"Yes. That land leads to another domain," he replied. "And it will take you days or even a whole week to reach that land."
"Too far," I mumbled.
"And too dangerous," he added.
"Because of sirens, huh..."
He just nodded before leaning towards the railings. "Do you know why this is my favorite place?" he asked.
