“You shouldn’t have come here,” Zachary said while forming a massive block of ice to stop the pyrs from advancing. “How did you even know that something is happening outside the gates?” he added, grunting as he fortified the wall of ice.
“I am not that dumb not to notice,” I replied to him, looking around to spot the other lycans. “Your kids couldn’t help you much since these monsters are way too aggressive for them to handle,” I pointed out when I saw his children just waiting for an opening to attack since they couldn’t get any nearer, or they will burn in flames. I turned to him and, with a teasing smile, “And you seem to be having some trouble stopping them.”
