My eyes lit up as soon as I caught glimpse of what’s lying beyond the walls. I can already see a green field. I think Zachary noticed my reaction since he looked at me and smiled. I don’t know what that was for. Maybe he was just amused seeing me react like a child.
“Is it true that beyond these walls is a place with a different season from here?” I asked him, eyes still fixed on the view in front of us.
