Yelina's Point of View
I don't want to leave Zachary, but I don't have a choice; I need to follow his instructions since he knows exactly what to do in this situation. I turned around and started running inside the gate. But I stopped in my tracks when I saw a nebular light coming out from the fortress. The light extends up to the dark, gray sky.
"What's that?" I murmured and was about to resume running when I heard someone speak, "That's the northern gate."
I turned around and saw Milly. She looked at me with a blank expression. "It's the same passage you used when you crossed this world," she added, taking a few steps forward.
I don't know why but my instincts are telling me to stand back, to distance myself from her. "Where are the others?" I asked, trying to ignore my instincts. "
