“Jared, let go!” She called his name to make him stop and she was relieved when he finally freed her.
He stood there in front of her, waiting for what she has to say. She’s within her rights to be angry and to scold him. Seeing his docile stance, Polly took a moment to collect herself.
“Look, I have already told you that Ren is only a friend. He doesn’t like me.”
“Don’t say his name.” He interrupted, making her frown.
“What?”
“Don’t say his name.” He repeated, maintaining his serious tone.
She was rendered speechless by his request and looked helpless. “Seriously?”
The man shrugged, “I would prefer it if you don’t say his name.”
Polly pursed her lips, curious of something. “What exactly are you feeling towards him? Are you simply angry?”
