Laura couldn’t deny that she liked shopping for dresses. Oddly, it gave her a sense of satisfaction. Having new beautiful dresses boosted her confidence. It took them hours to visit two dress shops. They had lunch at a famous local restaurant.
“Have you had these dishes before?” Lady Olive asked as they ate.
Laura looked around the table again.
“Ah, yes. I’ve had them before.”
“At the castle, I assume?”
“Yes. They serve varied dishes every day.”
“Hmm. Do you know where these originated from?”
Laura stuttered a little in giving her answers. She only knew about a few of them. Afterwards, Lady Olive kept talking about the dishes. Their meal took almost an hour because of it. She likes lecturing her, doesn’t she? Or she’s just chatty.
They rested a while after eating.
