She was surprised to find the prince waiting for her outside her room.
“Did you just arrive or have you been waiting?” She quietly asked as she approached. She wouldn’t dare to keep him waiting.
He smiled at her, “I’ve only arrived. I would like to meet this cousin of yours.”
“Oh, of course. You’ll like him.” She sounded proud of the young man.
When they arrived at the receiving room, Conner stood up and formally greeted the prince. Samuel dismissed it as Laura happily walked over to her cousin. She gave him a warm hug and stated how happy she is to see him.
Conner smiled, glancing at the prince, he told her that he’s happy for her.
“You deserve it and more. I’m glad you’re no longer at home. This is your new home, isn’t it? I’m happy to see you’re looking bright.”
