“How so? Was she rude to you?”
Laura shook her head. “She’s not rude, but she’s very vocal. She says a lot of things, but there were some I don’t agree with. I did try to voice out my own opinion, but she was very firm with hers. It was as if she expects me to agree with her, about everything she says.”
“I see…” Samuel trailed off. He doesn’t know much about his aunt’s personality, just that she’s part of the family and a respectable noble lady. He simply trusts her because of that. Since his mother died, there was no mother-figure in his life, but he used to think his aunt is the closest to it.
Laura waited for him to speak, but he stopped. He seemed to be in deep thought though, so she continued to wait.
